The Brisker Rav said two things are certain, Zionism is idolatry and everyone who lives in Israel stumbles in Zionism.
Everyone? Yes, allow an example. There's a gadol in EY who often says that Israel is surrounded by enemies. I like this gadol. He has many good things to say about many topics. However, this is a Zionistic view. How so? In the recent military conflict that Israel started with Iran, Israel was assisted by Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Help included use of air space, shooting down of drones and missiles, and sharing of information. How are they enemies? Certainly, we can propose the if not for ties with US money, they wouldn't be so friendly. That you can chock that up to Muslim displeasure with the presence of an anti-religious secular society in their midst as well as to Esav soneh Yaakov. I'm not saying that Esav soneh Yaakov doesn't exist, but Zionists exaggerate it and turn it into a religion of its own. What you are supposed to say is that there's some kind of deep seated dislike of Jews within gentiles, not necessarily a burning hatred, but something that to be aware of, and therefore we should cling to Torah observance and stay with people who do the same. But to create these bogeyman, these mythological monsters that all want to get us, and therefore we need to violate the Three Oaths and build a military state where the military is worshipped, that is Zionism.
Another example is not having sympathy for Palestinian civilians, who are being slaughtered every day. A Jew is supposed to be compassionate toward all. Zionism trains Jews to be merciless, coldhearted, and that is what nearly everyone has become.
Here's an example of how we are supposed to be:
The man doesn't move a muscle, just lets him stay there. After a minute, I asked the man if he wanted me to wake the kid up, but he shook his head and responded, 'He must have had a long day, let him sleep. We've all been there, right?' "
We could use more people like this. Compassion is the universal solution to a lot of the world’s problems. Let’s remember to be compassionate. We don’t always know where someone is at or the battle they are facing ❤️
A Jew is supposed to be truthful. The seal of HaShem is emes. Find me one who is truthful about the conflict with the Arabs. All you ever hear is that Israel is the good guy and the Arabs the bad guy. Nothing works like that, certainly not with anti-Torah people. Yet, that is how most OJ Jews talk, especially in Israel.
Everyone stumbles in Zionism.
Well maybe not this man, but I detect a British accent.
