Inquiries

Several times over the years, we have been contacted by people from chutz are interested in making aliyah. When we warn them that probably they should not come we never hear from them again. They are operating from programming that they should live in Israel and are contacting us only for information about logistics. What they are failing to do is the important first step of deciding if moving to Israel is a smart thing to do. Having been indoctrinated either that they are obligated to live in Israel, that Israel is the beginning of redemption, or that it's a fabulous place to live and the future for the Jewish people, their brains are focusing only on how to work it, not if they should at all. What they should be doing is contacting us again to hear more. What they proceed to do is go into the echo chamber and talk only to those who promote aliyah and provide inaccurate information that exaggerates the help available to olim and understates the many challenges.
