They are guilty of what they accuse others

Here's the blurb for the Tel Aviv Museum of Art at touristisrael.com:

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art is almost undoubtedly one of the greatest museums of modern art in the world. With a massive newly opened wing, the museum has a great collection of works by both Israeli and leading international artists showcased in an incredible building.

The TA museum has 10,000 square meters of gallery area.

However, Musée d'Orsay in Paris, which is a museum of modern art has 17,000 square meters. Paris has another museum of modern art Musée National d'Art Moderne, which has 18,000 square meters. Paris also has countless galleries. That means the city of Paris has at least 38,000 square meters of modern art, nearly 4x that of Tel Aviv. And that's not including the world's biggest art museum the Louvre, which doesn't have modern art.

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Modern Art in NY each have 15,000 square meters of gallery space. NY also has the Whitney (4,600 square meters) and the Guggenheim, which is of similar size. NY also has countless galleries which along with the modern art museums comprise at least 29,000 square meters, nearly 3x that of Tel Aviv.

The collections in NY and Paris also are far superior to that of Tel Aviv. " Musée d'Orsay "houses the largest collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist masterpieces in the world, by painters including Berthe Morisot, Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin, and van Gogh." TA has hardly any of that. I have been to museums all over the world. TA is not in the league of great museums. Most of its art is local.

The Museum of Modern Art in NY "spans the late 19th century to the present, and includes over 200,000 works of architecture and design, drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, prints, illustrated and artist's books, film, as well as electronic media."

TA doesn't tell us the size of its collection. Wonder why?

So we should not say that TA has "undoubtedly one of the greatest museums of modern art in the world." It's not one of the greatest. It's passable.

Now let's talk about classic art. The Tel Aviv museum claims to have "a unique collection of European art from the sixteenth through the nineteenth centuries."

More from the the museum's website:

The Museum’s Old Masters Collection comprises some 150 works, including unique paintings, sculptures, and objects. The collection focuses on three major areas: Italian art in the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries; Flemish and Dutch art in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries; and nineteenth-century Jewish art.

That's a total of 150 works, a collection not of 150 paintings but 150 everything including objects, which could mean spoons. And every painting that I saw was from an artist that I had never heard of.
By contrast, the collection at the Met. in NY consists of 2,666 European paintings that are shown online. They probably have much more. And that includes paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, and Vermeer, and sketches by Leonardo da Vinci. That's a world class collection.

The much larger Israel museum in Jerusalem holds all its European art in one room.

Let's talk about architecture.

Compare to Musée d'Orsay, Paris

This is not a matter of art being important or unimportant. It's a matter of truth being important. I keep wondering what is the source of this deceit regarding Israel, the society that accuses everyone else of lying all the time. Why do these people deem it acceptable to lie or to never check the facts? Do they assume that if it's Israel it must be wonderful? Do they assume that they are allowed to lie for Israel? Why?
