Closets in the hallways

I have talked about the tiny apartments that cost $800,000 in Israel. They come with tiny bedrooms and all purpose living/dining rooms in which you can barely squeeze a table and couch. The rooms are much smaller than what you are used to and they don't even contain closets. You need to set up standalone closets that clog that room. I have talked about the makeshift room additions that stand on stilts or use up the patios of the apartments. What you see also is lots of junk in the hallways because there is just no room in the apartments, even though Israelis don't own very much.

What? Nefesh b'Nefesh didn't you? What? They showed you photos of $2 million dollar apartments that resemble what you bought for $200,000 in America?
