1 bedroom for $650,000

I believe usually in Israel that an apartment that is listed as having 3 rooms means 2 bedrooms. But from this ad with its photos of 3 rooms, it could be that here 3 rooms means, a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen, i.e. 1 bedroom. Either way, this simple 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom  apartment that is located 21 miles from Jerusalem (which is a 1 hour commute) is on sale for 2 million shekels, that is $650,000!

You see those little rooms? Do the aliyah pushers ever mention to you the critical housing shortage in Israel? The lunatics who tell you that the future for your children is in Israel, do they explain where those children will live when they leave your undersized apartment? I couldn't afford at $650,000 dwelling on my New York salary, although at least in America you get a nice house for that price. Here it's a tiny apartment where salaries are 1/4 that of America, sometimes 1/10 for olim. 

The Modern Orthodox world with all its aliyah pushing is out of its mind. They are insane. They have no idea what goes on here. All they know are Gemaras praising Eretz Yisrael. They don't know the Gemaras about giving proper aitzah, about having seichel, about not living in a dream land.
