Every article is designed to make the Haredim look crazy. Maybe the state is crazy for demanding an autopsy. The article doesn't consider that for a second. There's no presentation of the argument against the autopsy. And the use of the word riot. There's no riot. There's traffic blocking and a handful of garbage can fires. That's not a riot. Rioting involves breaking into stores, looting, assault of passersby, overturning cars. Nothing like that is happening. And what about the blame on the draft law. There's truth to that. But the poverty isn't just because the gov. stopped daycare subsidies but because young Haredi men aren't allowed to work. However, the Times of Israel makes it all seem like Haredim being bad, that Haredim are bad. What makes them bad? It's the religion of course.
And who is good? It's the police of course. They are braving the crazy Haredim to make the streets safe. So the article wants you to believe. However, if you witnesses one of these protests, and I have seen a few, you'll see all violence started by the police. And those interrogations, they are quasi torture sessions.

Once again, those bad Haredim. Tell me, why does the army need them? Who is attacking Israel? Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia helped Israel during Israel's attack of Iran. Lebanon doesn't attack. Syria doesn't attack. Israel attacks them, weekly. And don't tell me Gaza. Israel could have stopped that just by watching the fence. That was hoodlums, not an army for which you need a huge army. There's no need to draft Haredim. All the Israelis really want to do is stop Haredi life. And they have the police, the guns, the stun grenades, the prisons.
The point for you is, if you are religious, do you want to bring your family to a society that hates Haredi Jews, that lies about them every single day? Or would you rather a place like New York that allows them to live in peace, a place like London that allows them to live in peace? Or Zurich, or Cleveland, or Detroit, or Antwerp, or Paris. All of those places are far more conducive to Haredi life than Israel.
Or would you rather come to Israel and be hated. Maybe your children will catch this disease of Haredi hatred. I have seen it happen to many olim. If they have a bad experience in a Haredi school, which can easily happen as the Haredim are influenced by the Hilonim, and the schools are situated in junky little trailers without resources, your kids can have a bad experience in the Haredi schools and then can catch this disease, and you cannot stop it. You risk losing your children by coming to Israel.
Where are you going to take them for vacation? The tiny little country, half of which is desert, half of the remainder of which is Arab, has a few Haredi spots. The great majority of the small portion of the inhabitable area of the NJ sized state is dominated by Hilonim who don't welcome Haredim. You'll find yourself on the same streets, day after day, with nowhere to go in this tiny little country. Can't go to the Arab countries. You have to get on a plane to experience any change from that Jerusalem stone. But you won't have the money for that because the Haredim live in poverty.
Not so many of the olim who push you to move here. You'd be amazed how many of them come here with millions of dollars that that they inherited from fathers who ran businesses in New York or California. They don't tell you that. They give you the impression that they are so idealistic as they buy up apartments and rent them out to fools that were manipulated by their rhetoric. They see themselves as halutzim draining swamps as they sell their million dollar home in Lawrence along with their second million dollar home in Florida and "make aliyah." Many of them hate Haredim too, rabidly so. Some of their sons go into the army. They don't. They are so proud as their sons fall apart.
Making aliyah is like walking into a buzz saw. Rav Yisrael Salanter said that the first mitzvah in the Torah is not to be a fool. If you live a decent life in the Americas, Europe, or Oceania, you would be a fool to leave it for the secular, Haredi hating state of israel.
