Your trip has been cancelled

For six months I have been planning my first trip to America in eight years. Flying overseas is complicated when you observe Shabbos and have a job that affords no vacation time because the company is so small there's nobody to cover for you. And I had to save up the money. But just when it seemed to be coming together, I get this email:

Please find hereafter information concerning your flight XX XXXX on 06/XX/2026.

We regret to inform you that your flight  has been cancelled.

Our apologies for the inconvenience, we realise that this has a big impact on your travel plans. We are truly grateful for your understanding.

Why is it canceled? It's because the Israeli government decided once again to attack neighboring countries. Why would they do that? Well there's three possibilities. The first is as they claim they are striking first against imminent danger. The second is because they are paranoid. The third is because they are war mongers.  Either way Israel is not a good place to live. If the first answer is the correct one - and I do not believe that it is - then this is not a place to raise your family. It's not safe. Answers two and three lead to the same conclusion because it's as dangerous to live in a country of crazy people as it is next to countries of crazy people.
